Overview Physician for Women’s Health (PWH), a proud affiliate of Women’s Health Connecticut, is comprised of physicians who demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide obstetrical and gynecological care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Women’s Obstetrics & Gynecology, of Physicians for Women’s Health, located in Trumbull, CT, is seeking a full-time physician to support our OB/GYN practice. Current staffing includes 4 MDs, 1 ND, 1 PA, and 1 DO. Physicians share call duties and serve patients at two office locations. The practice is affiliated with Bridgeport Hospital. Candidates must be able to diagnose patient conditions and recommend appropriate treatments. Knowledge of fetal growth and development and the ability to identify and address age-specific patient needs are essential. Position Highlights: Perform comprehensive physical examinations and compile patient medical data, including health history and physical exam results. Order or perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, and basic wound care. Instruct and counsel patients on treatment compliance, growth and development, family planning, emotional health, and overall wellness. Develop and implement patient management plans, monitor hospitalized patients when appropriate, record progress, and ensure continuity of care. Gain proficiency in Electronic Medical Record systems. Handle billing submissions during office visits.
