Our team at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital includes 21 physicians and six advanced practice providers (APPs), supported by a clinical performance nurse and hospitalist coordinator. Our providers come from diverse backgrounds worldwide, including Palestine, India, the Philippines, and various US states. Members participate in organizational committees such as infection prevention, clinical documentation, sepsis, pharmacy and therapeutics, patient safety, antimicrobial stewardship, and readmission reduction. Weekly team huddles occur on Tuesdays and Fridays at 8 a.m., featuring short teaching sessions and a monthly team meeting to discuss workflow improvements. Qualifications

Board Certified or Eligible Physician Assistant Prior hospitalist experience preferred Authorized to work in the US Schedule and Coverage

Seven on/off schedule with flexibility for coverage, accommodating travel needs. Day shift APP opening with inpatient coverage from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. by nine physicians and two APPs. Swing shifts handled by two physicians for admissions. Night coverage from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. by one physician and one APP. Key Responsibilities

Manage complex cases; ICU is closed to intensivists, with ICU codes covered by APPs. Support cardiology in admitting to the CCU; practice evolving with additional hires. Night team manages ER consults, transfer calls, and basic admissions, supported by a Medical Emergency Response Team for urgent codes. Living in Canton
