Department of Radiology affiliation with Riverside University Health System. Located in Southern California's Inland Empire, RUHS is a teaching hospital located roughly midway between Los Angeles and Palm Springs. The area offers access to beaches, deserts, mountains, and cultural activities, with six major airports within an hour's drive. Responsibilities

Provide a proportion of the full-time base of 13 weeks of call coverage for fluoroscopic studies, weekend film reading from home, and share of holiday coverage with the team. Current coverage includes an average 1–2 shifts per week from home with hours 7am–4pm or 11am–8pm and the remainder on site from 8am–5pm. There is no scheduled work after 8pm or before 7am. Back-up coverage is available whenever required. Participate in ongoing quality improvement and scholarly activity. Teach radiology residents and conduct quarterly lectures to family and internal medicine residents. Contribute to the department's expansion to meet patient needs, including ongoing installation of new equipment and handling a high imaging volume. Qualifications

Radiology residency with an integrated clinical year (began July 2022). Interest in a mix of imaging studies; mammography is optional. About RUHS and the Role

Compensation & Benefits

The compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $500,000–$525,000. This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department compensation plans.
