Overview
The Division of Nephrology at Banner University Medical Group is recruiting an Adult Clinical Nephrologist for both inpatient and outpatient care within the academic environment. The candidate selected will receive a Clinical Series or Clinical Scholar faculty appointment to the University of Arizona, at the level of Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor based on experience and credentials.
Responsibilities
Performs inpatient and outpatient clinical care, satellite clinical coverage, and outpatient dialysis rounding
Fellow and Resident supervision
Participate in clinical research, teaching, and publications
Qualifications
Board Eligible/Certified in Nephrology
Work Schedule 7 am – 5 pm; 36 patient contact hours, 4 administrative hours per week
Inpatient rounding: 10–25 patients; average 6–7 months per year
Outpatient clinic: 8–12 patients; average 3–4 half-day clinics per week
Current weekend on call for nephrology consultation service: 1:8 (shared equally)
