Practice Overview Eastern Animal Hospital has won the hearts of Baltimore's pet owners for over 30 years. Referred to as "Baltimore's Best Vets", we serve clients in a state-of-the-art facility with wellness care, urgent care, surgery, doggie daycare, and luxury boarding services. We are AAHA accredited, a designation that only 10% of practices in North America have earned. Our facility is equipped to handle a wide range of needs, and our experienced staff combines expertise with compassion to promote pets' health. With on-site staff 24/7, including an ICU and extended hours, we are always available to assist the pets of the Baltimore community.

At Eastern Animal Hospital, we believe that taking care of our team is as important as taking care of our patients. We prioritize work-life balance with flexible scheduling, paid time off, and an environment that values your time outside of work. We are committed to mental health and well-being, offering an Employee Assistance Program and an open culture where you can thrive emotionally as well as professionally. We invest in professional development with ongoing training opportunities, continuing education support, and a clear path for career growth—because when you grow, our entire hospital grows with you.

More about the Role Our state-of-the-art facility is built to handle a wide range of situations, from wellness and sick patients to surgery and dental procedures, and urgent care/emergency needs. Our large, experienced staff combines their expertise with your skills to provide the highest quality medicine to patients.

Currently we are looking to add to our GP team; however, opportunities to pick up UC/ER shifts may be available in the future. If your interest is primarily in wellness, chronic/sick patients, and surgery/dentals, we would love to talk with you. Our team will set up your exam rooms with clients, so you can walk right in. We have equipment you would expect in an updated, technologically advanced practice such as ultrasound and digital radiographs.

We welcome doctors with all experience levels, and strong mentorship is available for those just starting out. We look forward to inviting you into our practice!
