Overview ECU Health Physicians and the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine are seeking fellowship-trained BE/BC Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists to staff the new ECU Health Behavioral Health Hospital. New graduates and visa candidates are welcome to apply.
Hospital & Facility ECU Health and Acadia Healthcare have broken ground on a state-of-the-art, 144-bed inpatient behavioral health hospital. The new facility is expected to open fall 2025 and will serve as a center of excellence dedicated to the mental health needs of pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Located less than a mile from ECU Health Medical Center, the hospital will offer comprehensive inpatient and intensive outpatient treatment options. 24 beds will serve the behavioral health needs of children and adolescents – the only such beds within 75 miles of Greenville.
