Medical Oncology

Overview Piedmont Oncology, Piedmont Healthcare's comprehensive cancer service line, is recruiting a board certified/board eligible medical oncology physician with interest in Breast or Colorectal cancers, for its locations in Augusta, GA. This position will support a successful breast cancer and colorectal program by enhancing opportunities for multidisciplinary care, clinical trials and opportunities for underserved patients in the Augusta community. This new physician will support and expand the clinical excellence aligned with discovery and innovation associated with Piedmont Oncology.

Qualifications

Board-certified or board-eligible medical oncologist

Georgia medical license

Interest in Breast or Colorectal cancers

Strong communication skills and compassion for patients and families

Responsibilities

Support and expand multidisciplinary care, clinical trials, and care pathways across Piedmont Oncology

Collaborate with providers locally and across Piedmont Oncology

Participate in research initiatives and care pathway development
