Overview
We are seeking an In-Person Speech-Language Pathologist for a School-Based Assignment in Oakland/Richmond, CA. This SLP role is a full-time, in-person position. Join our team in assessing, treating, and managing caseloads of all grade levels. Inclusive school site, collaborative SPEd team & staff, easy & below average caseload size. Celebrations Speech Group is a private practice and NPA (Non-public agency) with decades of experience providing quality therapeutic and educational services. Responsibilities
Provide evidence-based therapy plans, goals, and therapeutic treatment for speech/language disorders.
Evaluate and implement standardized tests for accurate diagnosis of communication disorders.
Case management for students on caseload.
Attend, facilitate, and write legally compliant/defensible IEPs.
Provide supervision for a CF or SLPA if needed or as appropriate.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Attend training as requested, collaborate, and provide support to other SPED teachers/specialists as well as GE staff.
Qualifications
REQUIRED: Current California SLP License.
Master's Degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders. CFY's accepted and encouraged to apply.
Experience with Case Management & IEP Writing.
Knowledge of Special Education compliance law & regulations.
Strong desire to work with a wide array of populations.
Exercise good judgment in prioritization - complete assigned tasks without supervision.
Ability to build rapport with staff.
Excellent written skills and efficient verbal communication at all organizational levels.
Positive and collaborative demeanor.
Compensation Compensation:
Competitive salary: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year, commensurate with experience.
