A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 20252026 school year, working within a K-12 educational setting in San Diego, CA. This contract position runs from August 20, 2025, through June 11, 2026, with a focus on supporting students across all grade levels in the district.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to optimize student communication outcomes Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
Qualifications
Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology, or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) Eligibility or certification in school-based speech-language pathology (SLP-School credential) Experience working with the K-12 student population preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration Ability to work full-time on-site within the school environment

Three positions available Contract duration aligns with the standard school year calendar Candidate files will be forwarded to Speech-Language Paraprofessionals (SLPA) as needed Interviews can be scheduled immediately, with timely hiring decisions
