This position, under the supervision of the Site Administrator, is responsible for developing, implementing, and enforcing all policies and procedures for a residential community corrections facility delivering services in accordance with the State of New Jersey Department of Corrections and Parole Board as well as company policy and procedures. Understand and appreciate the need for rehabilitation of offenders; Effectively plan, organize and control resources required to deliver contractual services; Establish and maintain acceptable working relationships with contracting agencies as well as local government and relevant civic organizations; Recruit and retain acceptable workforce for maximum service delivery; Understand, interpret and enforce rules and regulations to ensure safety and security for residents, employees and the community; Communicate clearly, concisely and timely with all levels of the organization and the respective contracting agencies; Exercise integrity; Maintain a flexible work schedule; and Maintain contracting agency clearance requirements. Academic and Work Experience
Academic and Work Experience:
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or a social science and five (5) years of related experience, including three years in a highly organized large organization with two or more years in mid to upper level management; or an acceptable equivalence of relevant work and academic including five years of managerial experience. An understanding of the relationship between the contracting agencies and the company regarding issues of public safety, accountability and rehabilitation of offenders is helpful.
