OB/GYN Hospitalist - Physician - Davenport, Iowa - Join an amazing team We are seeking an experienced OB/GYN to join or lead our OB/GYN Hospitalist team and help develop an OB ED core program. - Provide 24-hour in-house care for OB & GYN emergencies in the ER and labor & delivery, with 24-hour coverage by anesthesia and neonatology. - Accept and manage transfers from smaller regional hospitals. - Offer intrapartum, antepartum, and postpartum care for unassigned patients. - Provide backup call for MercyOne OB/GYN practice. - Supervise 1st and 2nd-year Family Medicine residents and one FM-OB Fellow. *Full-time position requires 7 (24-hour) shifts per month. * Competitive compensation and moving assistance provided. * H1 & J1 visa support available for full-time roles. MercyOne Genesis Birth Center in Davenport: This busy labor & delivery unit handles approximately 2000 births annually, supported by several physician groups: Two OB/GYN groups: A large, established private practice with 8 physicians and 6 midwives.

A hospital-employed group providing clinic-based OB/GYN care for MercyOne Genesis patients and local FQHC, Community Health Care/Edgerton Women's Health, collaborating with 5 midwives from FQHC in both office and hospital settings.
