Scientist II, Immunology

to join our growing research team. This role is ideal for a hands-on scientist with a strong background in immunology, cellular biology, or translational research who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative biotech environment. Key Responsibilities

Design, plan, and execute in vitro and ex vivo experiments to evaluate immune cell function, cytokine profiles, and mechanism of action for therapeutic candidates. Lead immunophenotyping and biomarker assay development using flow cytometry, ELISA, Luminex, and other immune-based assays. Independently analyze and interpret complex data; clearly present findings at internal team meetings and cross-functional project reviews. Collaborate with colleagues across biology, translational science, and clinical development to support preclinical and early clinical programs. Contribute to IND-enabling studies, data packages, and regulatory documents. Stay current with relevant scientific literature and apply new methods or insights to drive innovation within the immunology pipeline. Basic Requirements

PhD in Immunology, or related field with 1+ years of industry experience or BS with 10+ years of relevant biotech/pharma experience. Must have at least 1 year of industry immunology experience Deep understanding of immune pathways and cellular immunology (e.g., B and T cell biology, macrophage activation, innate immunity, autoimmune models). Proficiency in multi-color flow cytometry, cell-based assays, molecular biology techniques (e.g. QPCR, CRISPR), and immunoassay development. Experience with functional human primary cell assays, ex vivo models, or translational immunology. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams. Strong organizational and communication skills with a track record of scientific contribution (e.g., publications, presentations, patents). Curiosity to explore new science/techniques and a passion to improve patients’ lives. Antares Therapeutics is an equal opportunity employer.
