Overview

The CRNA cares for patients at all acuity levels across the lifespan in a variety of settings for procedures including, but not limited to, surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and pain management. We offer flexible schedules, excellent pay and competitive benefits. Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia care across a range of settings and procedures as part of Huntsville Hospital Health System at 133 anesthetizing locations. Opportunities available in pediatrics, obstetrics, orthopedics, cardiovascular care and more. Option to rotate throughout affiliate facilities, with shift options at Huntsville Hospital and affiliated campuses. Join voluntary call teams at Huntsville Hospital, Cardiovascular Operating Room, and age 3+ call in Pediatrics at Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children. Facilities include Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children, Decatur Morgan Hospital, Athens-Limestone Hospital, Athens-Limestone Surgery Center, Madison Hospital and Madison Hospital Outpatient Endoscopy. Compensation & Benefits

Sign-on Bonus: $45,000 with a three-year work commitment. Premium Pay for weekends and extra shifts. Relocation: Varied relocation assistance (must live more than 75 miles from Huntsville Hospital campus). Voluntary Call: Earn up to an additional $25,000 annual salary, plus premium call-back pay. Holds current active state licensure as a registered nurse in Alabama or a compact state RN license and complies with applicable state requirements for CRNAs. Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program. Currently certified or recertified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists. Demonstrates current clinical competency as a CRNA. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

ACLS, BLS, PALS from American Heart Association. Ability to perform clinically as a nurse anesthetist in a facility setting on a regular basis. Ability to operate and interpret data from anesthesia-related equipment and provide perioperative care to support patient safety. Effective verbal and written communication to collaborate with clinical staff and other disciplines. Knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan and patient-specific needs. Infection prevention and control techniques; confidentiality; adherence to facility policies and procedures. Highlights
