Milledgeville, GA Responsibilities
Provide direct emergency care to approximately 83 patients daily. Deliver comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and stabilization across trauma, medical, and surgical cases. Work in collaboration with a large team (24 MDs and 23 NP/PA coverage) to ensure continuous coverage. Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient care coordination. Complete orientation and onboarding requirements as part of initial credentialing. Qualifications
Licenses: Active state license required (credentialing can begin while license processes). Board: ABEM, AOBEM, ABFM, ABIM, ABPS, ANCC, AANP, AANC accepted. DEA: Required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required. Experience: Residency trained; emergency medicine experience required. Facility & Coverage Details
ED Beds: 22 (including fast track). EMR System: Epic. Support Staff: MD and NP/PA coverage (24 MD, 23 NP/PA staffing model). Reason for Coverage: Supplemental coverage. Coverage Period: 10/19/2025 to open (initial 6-month assignment). Assignment length: 6 months beginning October 19, 2025. Minimum shifts: 5. Number of providers needed: 12. Compensation & Benefits
Weekly OT: After 168 hours (based on fixed). Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered. Job Requirements
Licenses: Active state license required (credentialing can begin while license processes). Immunizations: TB, Flu, N95 Fit Test required. Orientation: Orientation and EMR training required. About Adelphi Locums
