Overview Are you passionate about enhancing lives? We are seeking a
Rehab Director
to join our team. The Rehab Director will be responsible for the efficient operation of rehabilitation services in their assigned community, ensuring delivery of high-quality rehabilitation services and achieving the best possible patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
In collaboration with their supervisor; onboard, coach, manage performance, and develop employees through strong leadership, effective management, and adherence to Blue Stone Therapy purpose, core values, policies, and procedures.
Direct daily staffing and utilization, including scheduling; may manage therapists in multiple communities.
Oversee clinical management of the rehabilitation department, including case management, care planning, therapy utilization, and patient identification.
Provide direct patient care as needed and regularly meet prescribed productivity standards for the assigned discipline and location.
Coordinate and participate in training programs for facility staff, patients, families, and rehabilitation staff.
Ensure compliance with company and facility policies, procedures, practices, and report variances; communicate policies and procedures to appropriate staff.
Promote new program development focused on functional outcomes to improve patients’ quality of life.
Requirements Education and Experience
Successful completion of an accredited Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Physical Therapy Assistant, or Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Minimum of one (1) year of hands-on clinical experience in a therapy services role.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
Experience with NetHealth preferred.
License And Certification
Current valid Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, Physical Therapist Assistant, or Occupational Therapy Assistant license to practice in the appropriate state.
