Overview
Join The Oregon Clinic as a full-time Endoscopy Registered Nurse at the Gastroenterology West Endoscopy Center in Southwest Portland. Provide high-value, patient-focused care in a collaborative team. Responsibilities
Provide professional nursing care for clinic patients under the direction of a Physician(s) and within their scope of practice according to the Oregon State Board of Nursing. Perform patient assessment and triage, either in person or over the phone. Assist in all phases of patient care including admitting, assisting during procedures, and recovery. Accurately handle specimens, complete laboratory request forms, and verify information is correct. Ensure equipment and supplies are cleaned, sterilized, and maintain medical inventory when needed. Update records as needed. Assist with the overall delivery of patient care in the department. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience strongly preferred; GI and/or Surgical experience a plus. Current Oregon state licensure as a Registered Nurse. Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire. ACLS is required. Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred; Epic experience a plus. Excellent attendance and work ethic; positive attitude and team player mindset. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members. Commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety. Compensation & Schedule
Salary range based on experience and credentials: Level I: $43.78-$59.24 per hour; Level II: $48.16-$65.16 per hour. Work location: Peterkort Centre. Typical hours are Monday–Friday, four 10-hour shifts with a variable day off (schedule TBD). Shifts may start at 6:30 am or 7:30 am. Benefits
