A full-time position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade within a dynamic educational setting in San Diego, CA. This contract role spans the normal school year (NSY) and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a diverse student population.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-12 students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving communication skills. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure cohesive support. Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed. Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with regulatory and school standards.
Preferred Qualifications
Valid SLP licensure. Experience working with K-12 age groups in educational environments. Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) is preferred to better support students with varied communication needs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Ability to manage caseloads efficiently within a fast-paced school calendar.
Position Details
Location: San Diego, California. Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week. Term: Contract for the normal school year (NSY).
