NYU Langone Health - Hepatologist Position
NYU Langone Health is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible hepatologist at NYU Langone Hospital - Long Island. The candidate will focus on hepatology, with clinical responsibilities including managing the inpatient hepatology service and performing basic endoscopic procedures. The successful candidate will diagnose, manage, and treat patients with liver diseases and is encouraged to develop an academic expertise in an area of their choice. Potential areas include inflammatory bowel disease-related hepatology, oncology-related liver disease, chronic hepatitis B, PBC, geriatric hepatology, and alcoholic liver disease, especially within diverse and disadvantaged communities. Mentorship and development support for clinical trials are available.
Additional Responsibilities
Teaching medical students, residents, and GI fellows.
Participating in basic, clinical, and outcomes research.
The academic rank at NYU School of Medicine-Long Island will be based on experience. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits, including paid CME, malpractice insurance, and vacation.

Compensation Salary range: $325,000 - $375,000
The listed salary is for full-time employment and excludes incentives and benefits. Actual salary will consider experience, training, hospital/community needs, and other factors.
