Job Summary The Transplant Center at New York Medical College-Westchester Medical Center is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible hepatologist with transplant expertise to join our transplant program. Qualified candidates will provide transplant services to patients with end-stage liver disease, focusing on potential liver transplant recipients, pre-transplant workup and evaluation, providing post-transplantation care, and managing immunosuppression. The candidate will participate in patient selection conferences, liver transplant clinics, and house staff teaching. Participation and productivity in research are expected.

Qualifications / Requirements The successful candidate will be board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology and have completed a certified hepatology transplant fellowship or have the experience necessary to qualify under the OPTN clinical experience pathway.

About Us Located in a state-of-the-art facility, The Transplant Center sees over 10,000 patient visits and performs 65-70 liver transplants per year. Our team provides consultative services as well as transplant-related care to patients throughout the Hudson Valley and beyond. As part of a vibrant and growing liver transplant program, you will be directly involved in all phases of transplant care and work closely with our transplant surgeons in a collaborative team atmosphere.
