Experienced OB Hospitalist MD/DO Passionate about serving underserved populations Clear communicator Able to work well with Certified Nurse Midwives and across departments Bellingham, WA offers outdoor recreation, urban amenities, strong schools, shopping, and cuisine, surrounded by scenery from the sea to mountains and rainforest. Enjoy Mount Baker, San Juan Islands, North Cascades, and explore Fairhaven and Downtown Bellingham. Provide compassionate, respectful, and safe patient care within your scope of practice, collaborating with healthcare team members to achieve optimal outcomes. Essential Functions
Practice medicine within your license, training, and credentialing Follow current standards of care and quality criteria Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across all ages Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications
Education
Graduation from an accredited School of Medicine Completion of internship/residency in your specialty Experience
Computer proficiency Credentials
Licensed to practice in Washington State, board certified or eligible DEA registration CPR/BLS certification (required at start date) ACLS and PALS (may be required) Skills
Clinical management expertise Commitment to continuing education Ability to work varied hours, including on-call No exclusion from Medicare/Medicaid participation Department / Location Specific Notes
Certification in BLS, ACLS, or PALS required within 30 days of hire Working Conditions
Lifting up to 35 lbs without assistive devices Fine motor skills for medical procedures Ability to perform CPR for at least 20 mins Ability to move around, bend, reach Environmental Conditions
Exposure to biohazards, body fluids, airborne particles Additional Information
