Urban Health Plan (UHP) is a network of federally qualified community health centers offering comprehensive, affordable, quality primary and specialty health care. We are located in the Bronx, Queens, and Manhattan and are accredited by the Joint Commission. At UHP, our commitment to patient-centered, holistic, quality health care is part of a tradition started by our founder, Dr. Richard Izquierdo, more than 40 years ago. Our Dental Department employs community-driven and highly skilled clinicians to provide integrated care in our Health Centers. We are seeking new associates to join our team in the capacity of
General Dentist . We are looking for dentists to provide all aspects of dental services for our patients in accordance with generally accepted standards of professional practice. The dentist will provide diagnostic and treatment services, explain procedures and services to patients, work in collaboration with other staff members to ensure delivery of efficient and quality health care, and ensure open communication channels to enhance the efficient functioning of the health center. The pediatric dentist will perform other job-related duties as required by departmental needs/demands. Qualifications
DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school Board Eligible/Certified in Dentistry Valid NY State dental license, BLS, PALS Certified Understanding of and passion for Community Healthcare is preferred Benefits
