A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide specialized support at an early childhood school located in Berkeley, CA. This contract position spans the entire school year (NSY) and offers the chance to make a positive impact in the developmental progress of young learners.
Key Qualifications And Experience
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required. Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but not mandatory. Candidates currently in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply. Previous experience working as an SLP in clinical or school settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with early childhood intervention and school-based therapy approaches is beneficial.
Primary Responsibilities
Conduct speech and language evaluations tailored for young children. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that support communication skills. Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support holistic student development. Monitor progress and adjust therapeutic strategies accordingly to meet each childs unique needs. Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with established protocols.
