is a critical illness recovery hospital committed to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery. We help patients during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives, and every team member plays a central role in providing compassionate, excellent care every step of the way.
Responsibilities
Prepare the patient for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and creating a comfortable environment.
Use proper patient positioning and technical factors to consistently produce quality diagnostic studies.
Operate a CT scanner to produce cross-sectional images of desired patient anatomy.
Administer contrast media as directed by the referring physician.
Monitor the patient for adverse drug events and report accordingly.
Perform routine quality assurance on equipment and identify basic malfunctions.
Perform clerical duties, as needed, such as answering phones.
Minimum Qualifications
At least 2 years experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and hold current state license (as required).
At least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist (not including school).
Must have ARRT or CMRT certification.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Must be current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience operating facility-specific equipment desirable.
