Position West Virginia University Medicine is seeking multiple Nocturnist Physician Hospitalists for West Virginia University Hospitals, Inc. This position is based at Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton, WV.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive inpatient clinical care to patients with disease and injuries of the human internal organ system.
Establish preventive health practices for patients.
The ICU is open and procedures are not required.
Qualifications
M.D. or D.O. degree or foreign equivalent.
Completed residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and West Virginia Medical License eligible.
Board eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
Team and Environment The team currently has two full-time nocturnists covering most night shifts. We have nearly a full team with minimal historic use of locums’ tenens hospitalists. We have an experienced group of Advanced Practice Providers that provide excellent support to our physicians.
