Medical Education Program Coordinator - Obstetrics and Gynecology Posting Number req23816 Department: Obstetrics and Gynecology Location: University of Arizona Health Sciences, Tucson, AZ USA Position Highlights The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Fellowship Program. This position will also assist with the Clerkship Program. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high degree of discretion and excellent interpersonal skills. The Program Coordinator must have outstanding problem-solving skills, the ability to prioritize multiple projects, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Strong organizational skills are required to efficiently complete tasks and track the progress of duties, ensuring follow-up and timely completion of projects. Responsibilities

Support the day-to-day operations of an ACGME-accredited fellowship program.

Maintain a well-structured collection of real-time evaluations from faculty, trainees, and off-service sites in diverse learning situations. This will also require creating, tracking, collecting, and entering evaluations in a timely fashion.

Gather and compile data for annual reports required by the Graduate Medical Education Office, ACGME, ABOG, and other agencies.

Track department publications, presentations, and other scholarly activities on an ongoing basis.

Provide support to the Residency Program Manager.

Coordinate and organize fellowship recruitment, orientation, and graduation activities according to established procedures.

Coordinate special events within the department.

Coordinate, schedule and track teaching didactics.

Coordinate and schedule Committee meetings.

Support departmental Grand Rounds and CME accreditation activities, including organizing travel for outside speakers as directed.

Ensure all MFM Division CME and non-CME accreditation conferences are tracked and scheduled appropriately.

Process timely reimbursement paperwork to ensure all purchases comply with departmental and funding policies.

Assist with maintaining student rosters and ensuring all necessary materials for the clerkship are prepared for orientation and throughout the clerkship.

Coordinate communication between students, faculty, and staff, ensuring that important deadlines and events are communicated clearly.

Maintain Clerkship programs, such as MedLearn, New Innovations, and UAccess.

Generate weekly emails regarding lectures, and clinical schedules.

Ensure administrative work is carried out accurately and in timely fashion.

Ensure timely dissemination of CME code and materials.

Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication, excellent grammar, composition, and proofreading.

Ability to work in a team-based environment with frequent interruptions.

Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities.

Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.

Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with university systems.

Experience with ERAS and New Innovations.

Experience with ACGME programs.
