Position Highlights

Work-life balance, with protected admin time and no evenings/weekends Patient and Provider Centered scheduling model Collaborate with 3 optometrists, 6 residents and 9 ophthalmologists Epic EMR system Opportunities to lecture, mentor and perform research Opportunities for community service Comprehensive benefits package Scope of Practice

Perform comprehensive eye exams and contact lens evaluations Diagnose and manage a full spectrum of ocular diseases and conditions Prescribe corrective lenses and therapeutic treatments Provide urgent and emergency eye care when needed Exercise autonomy in clinical decision making Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the system Ensure continuity of care for patients throughout the system Practice Environment

Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited program Licensed (or license-eligible) to practice in Massachusetts Board certified or board eligible in optometry Why UMass
