Overview
The Clinical Operations Director at Ellie Mental Health, now a part of Nystrom & Associates, is responsible for driving the growth and performance of their identified clinic to achieve Ellie\'s mission of "Compassionately transforming the culture of mental health by delivering creative solutions that make wellness accessible in every community." As the Director, you\'ll ensure the success of the clinic(s) you oversee, provide clinicians with the tools and resources they need, and oversee comprehensive facilities management for the corporate office / clinic location to maintain a safe, functional, and welcoming environment that supports both clinical operations and corporate functions. Total compensation will consist of a base salary range of $100,000 - $125,000 plus a quarterly bonus potential. Salary is determined based on experience and qualifications. Required Skills / Abilities
Masters\' degree or higher in a mental health discipline Independently licensed with a Minnesota-issued clinical practice license (e.g., LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, LP) Board approved licensure supervisor (BBHT, BOSW, BMFT, BP) 2+ years\' experience leading a multi-disciplinary team of therapists Good judgement, honesty, integrity, responsibility, time management, and punctuality Ability to analyze issues and propose solutions in a fast-paced, changing environment Proficient in using computers, typing, and navigating multiple applications / systems (e.g., Microsoft Office, EHR) Maintains strict confidentiality handling client information in compliance with HIPAA and Ellie policies Demonstrates awareness, inclusivity, sensitivity, humility, and experience working with diverse populations Primary Responsibilities
Ensure site-specific targets related to client census, access, patient satisfaction, and employee satisfaction are met, and that client care is of the highest quality Manage and execute on a budget while forecasting future needs and identifying areas for improvement of services Represent Ellie in external relationships with the community; partner with marketing and outreach to drive engagement in surrounding communities Develop and execute a strategic, multidisciplinary staffing plan to expand Ellie's capacity by optimizing physical space and telehealth to meet client access goals Partner with talent acquisition to recruit and maintain a diverse, well-rounded team of therapists aligned with community needs Review staff documentation metrics to ensure timely documentation and compliance with standards Participate in weekly clinic director meetings, quarterly MN leadership meetings, and other required initiatives Provide 1:1 consultation with therapy staff to review productivity, caseload, and clinical documentation (licensed provider: monthly 1 hour; non-licensed provider: twice monthly) Oversee 245i Clinic Supervision and Consultation, including a monthly case consultation meeting Review and sign documentation for pre-licensed providers Build a strong team culture and foster collaboration across departments / clinics Optimize use of physical space to maximize in-person availability for Ellie clients Facilities Management & Corporate Office Operations
Oversee comprehensive facilities management for the corporate office / clinic location, ensuring functionality and safety for clinical and administrative operations Manage office space utilization and scheduling, coordinating room bookings and space allocation Coordinate with facilities staff and external vendors for maintenance and updates with minimal disruption Oversee space planning and office layout optimization to support clinical privacy and corporate workflow Manage facility-related budgets and expenses (utilities, contracts, capital improvements) Oversee security systems, access management, and badge distribution Ensure environmental health and safety compliance, including waste disposal, infection control, and workplace safety Support corporate operations by maintaining common areas, conference rooms, and shared spaces reflecting Ellie\'s brand and culture Coordinate with IT and other support services to ensure facility infrastructure supports clinical technology and corporate systems Additional Responsibilities
Serve as primary point of contact for facility emergencies and coordinate responses Support special events, meetings, and corporate initiatives with facility setup and logistics Other duties as assigned Ellie was proudly founded by clinicians on the principle of destigmatizing mental health.
