Overview
Airtable is seeking a Procurement Manager with primary focus on Procurement Operations. In this role, you'll handle day-to-day operations as well as collaborate on optimizations, automation, training and compliance. You will flex into Sourcing by helping influence tail spend across both corporate and technology categories. Your goal is to minimize risk, maximize value and drive speed to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The ideal candidate will be adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams such as business, systems, legal, IT and finance. This position reports directly to the Head of Procurement.
What you'll do
Day-to-day operations:
Creating and onboarding new vendors and coordinating with business, finance and cross-functional (legal, security, IT) teams on urgent request approvals
Contract Redlining:
Redline SOW and Order forms for commercial terms and collaborate with legal on non-commercial terms
Process Optimization:
Develop fast-buy processes - P-card program, catalogs for repetitive and small purchases
Automation:
Partner with financial systems and legal teams to optimize procurement and contracting process using AI and bots
Tail Spend Sourcing:
Responsible for Tail spend approvals (
Training:
Provide procurement best practices and systems training to vendors and requesters within the company and drive stakeholder adoption
Reporting & Compliance:
Drive reporting of after-the-fact metrics and ensure compliance with procurement guidelines
Policy:
Develop procurement policies, aligning processes with regulatory requirements and help drive compliance
Who you are
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
6+ years of Procurement Operations and Sourcing experience. Experience in high-growth enterprise SaaS or technology public companies is highly desirable
Demonstrated success in collaborating with legal, security, accounts payable, finance and IT teams to ensure smooth and effective operations
Skilled in navigating ambiguity, especially in an early-stage procurement environment.
Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems and take initiative
Expertise in negotiating commercial terms and redlining vendor contracts for both technology and corporate categories and influencing tail spend
Experience using procurement intake and financial/ERP systems, e-signature and contract lifecycle management tools
Compensation & Location Compensation will vary based on work location, relevant skills, and experience.
For work locations in the San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, New York City, and Los Angeles, the base salary range is
$130,000 - $160,700 USD .
For all other work locations (including remote), the base salary range is
$117,400 - $145,200 USD .
