Full-time Salary:
$196K–$220.5K + equity + benefits Overview: Lead design on Discord's Core Product team, improving the core user experience across mobile and desktop platforms. Own the end-to-end design process, from concept to implementation. Key Responsibilities: Lead design on a cross-functional team (Product, Engineering, Analytics) Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes Contribute to product strategy and vision Ensure quality and consistency in design execution Maintain and improve the design system Communicate design decisions clearly to stakeholders and leadership Requirements: Strong portfolio across desktop and mobile Proficient in Figma and prototyping tools (e.g., Framer, Protopie) Experience with design systems Strong communication and collaboration skills Familiarity with Discord, ideally with gaming experience Bonus: Staff Software Engineer – Desktop Platform
