What you’ll do
As a Staff Product Manager at Snyk you will be a senior member of the Product Management team and will lead complex work across an entire product or across product areas, spanning multiple groups/divisions, and managing cross-group/cross-divisional dependencies. You will refine and own your relevant part of the product strategy and build business cases based on business/revenue opportunities, evaluating expansion with existing customers and new market segments. Responsibilities
Recognized within Snyk as an expert in the relevant industry and domains. Collaborate with leaders to define the long-term vision/roadmap for the group. Drive activities to deliver on Snyk’s vision and align product strategy and timing. Present the roadmap to strategic prospects and customers. Collect and leverage customer feedback, user research, and data to identify expansion opportunities. Lead strategic business-level initiatives with cross-department collaboration. Engage with external influencers (press, analysts, industry experts) in their area of expertise. Contribute to the development of product craft at Snyk. Mentor and grow other PMs and contribute to ways of working within the PM team. Promote knowledge sharing and adoption of industry best practices in technology and market. Drive decision making across the group and with strategic stakeholders. Lead technical discussions with Engineering to evaluate options that evolve the product with the business perspective in mind. What you’ll need
8+ years of Product Management experience, ideally with DevOps experience. Deep knowledge of the competitive landscape, industry trends, pricing strategy, and decision-making. Strong knowledge of product management methodologies and processes. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, able to present at expert level. Ability to impact multiple areas outside of their remit. Ability to analyze market trends to inform product strategy and ensure competitive advantage. We’d be lucky if you
