Sr. Product Manager – Aerial Work Platforms
to lead product strategy, drive new development initiatives, and ensure successful product lifecycle execution.
This role requires a strategic thinker with experience in whole goods, heavy equipment, or construction equipment. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who thrives in cross-functional, global environments and has a proven ability to translate market insights into actionable product decisions.
Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development
Provide mentorship and strategic direction to direct reports.
Foster a strong, performance-driven team culture aligned with organizational values.
Coach and support junior team members to drive results and professional growth.
Product Strategy & Lifecycle Management
Own full product lifecycle management for aerial work platforms, including new product development, enhancements, simplification, and alignment with aftermarket and adjacent business opportunities.
Collaborate with engineering to prioritize roadmaps and align market timing.
Drive successful product launches through gate reviews and internal coordination.
Continuously improve systems and processes for efficient product development and portfolio management.
Market Insight & Product Positioning
Gather and analyze voice-of-customer (VOC) feedback, Jobs-to-be-Done, and competitive intelligence.
Develop go-to-market strategies and pricing models based on market dynamics and portfolio performance.
Serve as subject matter expert for aerial platform products, tracking performance metrics like margin, market share, and product health.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Sales, Service, Marketing, Training, and Quality teams to meet customer needs and promote adoption.
Coordinate with global stakeholders to align strategy across regions and product lines.
Support product demonstrations, field testing, and customer validation efforts.
Create supporting tools and materials such as spec sheets, sales manuals, and training content to drive commercial success.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
8 years of relevant experience in product management or related disciplines.
2 years of leadership or direct team management experience.
Ability to travel up to 30%, depending on business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree (MBA or technical field preferred).
Background in whole goods, heavy equipment, or industrial/construction machinery.
Experience in value-based pricing, go-to-market strategy, and full product lifecycle ownership.
