Software Developer (For Career Fair Attendees Only)

The Software Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, supporting, and documenting solutions based on requirements, including automated test coverage and verification of deployment into the production environment for new and existing applications. The Software Developer will apply proven problem-solving skills and knowledge of best practices to produce and support robust solutions based on business requirements of mission-critical information and software systems. Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications. Recognized as an advanced individual contributor and subject matter expert within the discipline. Participate in end-to-end development life cycle including requirements analysis and design through deployment and verification. Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements. Support, maintain, and document software functionality. Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation. Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed. Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements. Break down architecture into epics and stories for implementation. Consult with stakeholders to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs. You will be working in a Scrum team environment with a talented group of professional software developers. Assignments require the use of independent judgment, and the application of programming/software principles, theories, concepts, and design patterns appropriate for each application. Education / Qualifications
