Join us as the Operational Excellence Lead in Cambridge, MA. Here, everyone matters, and you will be a vital contributor to our inspiring, bold mission. The Operational Excellence Manager within the CoS Office (CoSO) will be responsible for managing budgets and contracts within GCA, providing ad-hoc analyses, and coordinating GCA-wide events and meetings. This role reports directly to the CoS based in Tokyo. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in budget and contract management, proficiency in meeting and event coordination, and the ability to navigate ambiguous environments with a focus on continuous improvement. How You Will Contribute

Collaborate with GCA teams to manage budgets and contracts, including POs, SOWs, accrual processes, and ensuring accurate budget tracking. Design and distribute monthly spending reports and analyze discrepancies between planned and actual spending. Support budget review cycles in collaboration with Finance, GCA budget owners, and the CoS in Tokyo. Conduct ad-hoc analyses requested by GCA teams. Identify and suggest improvements to operational processes. Coordinate and plan GCA-wide meetings and events, updating the annual calendar. Manage team meeting schedules, CoS schedule, and travel arrangements. Assist the CoS with additional tasks as needed. Skills

Over 5 years of experience with a broad understanding of Takeda organization, ideally in a multicultural and global setting. Proven experience in budget and contract management and strategic support in a corporate environment, preferably healthcare. Quick learner with a growth mindset, adaptability, and curiosity. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet demanding deadlines. Strong work ethic, integrity, credibility, and alignment with Takeda’s values. Flexibility and willingness to take on various assignments. High attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to operate in ambiguous environments with minimal supervision, driven, and self-motivated. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across diverse teams and geographies. Openness to giving and receiving feedback for continuous improvement. Bachelor’s degree required. Compensation and Benefits

Location: Boston, MA Salary Range: $111,800 - $175,670 annually. Actual salary depends on experience, skills, education, and location. Benefits include short-term and long-term incentives, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), disability coverage, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time, holidays, well-being benefits, sick leave, and paid vacation.
