40013726If you have what it takes to become part of the Vistra family and would like to start a promising career with a global leader, take a look at the exciting employment opportunities that are currently available and apply online.**Job Summary****Job Description****Key Accountabilities*** Lead early stage evaluation of new power generation development opportunities.* Originate and structure commercial transactions including PPAs, tolling agreements, and other associated agreements such as joint development, joint venture, and key deal documents.* Build and maintain relationships with counterparties, including utilities, municipalities, co-ops, industrials, data center developers, and hyperscalers.* Collaborate with project development to develop business case for the project, and coordinate with other internal groups including legal, risk, commercial, construction, operations, finance and others to develop and advance the transaction.* Collaborate with internal teams (development, engineering, legal, finance, risk, and regulatory) to advance project execution.* Monitor market trends, policy developments, and competitive dynamics to inform strategy.* Represent Vistra at industry events, conferences, and stakeholder meetings.**Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements*** 7+ years of experience in power sector business development, asset management or commercial operations, or origination.* Proven track record in structuring and closing power generation transactions.* Strong understanding of power market dynamics and regulatory frameworks.* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.* Bachelor’s degree; MBA or advanced degree preferred.* Experience with gas fueled, renewable energy and battery storage development, preferred* Familiarity with interconnection processes and permitting pathways, preferred* Exposure to competitive power markets or natural gas markets is a plus.**Key Metrics*** Achievement of growth objectives & strategic initiatives#LI-Hybrid#LI-ND1**Job Family**Corp Dev & Planning**Company**Vistra Corporate Services Company**Locations**Irving, TexasTexas### *We are a company of people committed to:
