Job Purpose The Business Development Director will represent the company and manage relationships with selected Tier 1 customers in the U.S. territory.
Nature of Duties The BD Director will develop and support sales programs within assigned key accounts, ensuring excellent customer care. Responsibilities include developing new customer relationships, maintaining existing ones, preparing account penetration plans, processing quotes and orders, and collaborating with sales and other teams to maximize revenue and strategic value. The role involves reporting opportunities and challenges to management and understanding customer application requirements for Viking's DRAM, Flash, and NVDIMM products. The BDM will act as a liaison between customers and manufacturing, providing guidance to manufacturer representatives as needed.
Education and Experience
15+ years of direct sales experience, specifically in Memory and Processor Products. Active knowledge of the storage and semiconductor markets. Experience with OEMs. Knowledge of SSD, Flash, and DRAM technologies. Ability to communicate technical product issues effectively. Proven track record of increasing sales. Ability to manage multiple customers, programs, and projects. Experience with Tier 1 accounts preferred. BS Degree preferred. Proficiency in Windows environment.
