* Advise students, parents, and university faculty and staff on financial aid eligibility, application procedures, aid programs, costs, loan repayment, and financial planning.* Oversee daily student-facing operations, including supervision of student employees at the front desk, monitoring of live chat and chatbot functions, scheduling of virtual and in-person advising meetings, and managing the queuing process for walk-in appointments.* Ensure timely and accurate handling of inquiries through phone, email, and chat.* Process a variety of student-submitted documents and forms and assist with related reports as needed.* Prepare and deliver presentations on financial aid topics for campus groups, high school students, and families at orientations, workshops, and recruitment events.* Bachelor’s degree in higher education, public administration, business, management, finance, information systems, or a related field; or a master’s degree in any field.* Minimum of two (2) years of experience in student financial aid administration or other comparable higher education student services area.* Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state financial aid regulations, policies, and procedures.* Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.* Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship (Nevada State does not sponsor employment-related visas).* NASFAA Certified Financial Aid Administrator (FAAC) designation.* Experience with the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Financial Aid module.* Experience developing and delivering financial aid or related presentations.Budgeted salary for this position is $46,057.
