About the Position The University of Texas Health at San Antonio, Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine, in collaboration with UT Health Multispecialty & Research Hospital (MSRH), is seeking an

Open Rank Rheumatologist

for the Department of Medicine. This full-time faculty role offers an appointment at the level of Assistant Professor/Clinical, Associate Professor/Clinical, or Professor/Clinical, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will join a dedicated faculty providing exceptional rheumatologic care, engaging in research, and teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Responsibilities include outpatient care at the Robert B Green and Gateway clinics, as well as inpatient consults at UT Health MSRH and University Hospital.

Qualifications

MD or DO degree

Completion of 3 years of ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency

Board certification in Rheumatology or eligibility to obtain certification within one year of fellowship completion

Active and unrestricted medical license in Texas or eligibility to obtain one
