This is a unique opportunity for an advanced gastroenterologist to join the only Level 1 trauma center in the region while enjoying a 7-on/7-off schedule that supports balance and longevity. You’ll handle a diverse mix of complex and routine GI cases, with procedural volumes averaging 150–200 per month. Whether you’re seeking a high-acuity hospitalist role, a chance to teach, or the support to pursue research, this role offers the tools and flexibility to build the career you want. With strong administrative backing, EPIC EMR, and purpose-built GI suites, you’ll be set up for success from day one.
Position Highlights:
7-on/7-off block schedule—hospital-based advanced GI role
ERCP/EUS preferred, with advanced cases making up ~25% of total
Four dedicated GI suites with block time and efficient turnover
150–200 procedures/month per physician
APP support expanding from 2 to 4
Affiliation with School of Medicine—opportunities for teaching and research
EPIC EMR, modern facilities, and state-of-the-art tools
Up to $600K base salary with RVU model + commencement bonus
