The Opportunity OBHG OB/GYN Hospitalists are the in-house experts whose ability to handle any obstetric emergency dramatically improves patient safety and satisfaction. This opportunity involves working collaboratively with local obstetricians to ensure that every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital is cared for by an experienced physician every time. OBHG’s program will enhance patient access, increase birthing volume, attract new physicians and improve collaboration with local clinics. OBHG’s physicians will work alongside the hospital’s residents. The Location Located 60 miles north of Nashville and 110 miles south of Louisville off Interstate 65, Bowling Green is the third-most populous city in Kentucky. Additional Opportunities in Kentucky Baptist Health Paducah | Paducah Baptist Health Paducah (BHP), in Paducah, KY, provides compassionate maternity care, supporting families throughout birth and postpartum. The team includes OB/GYNs, labor and delivery nurses, midwives, and access to a NICU. BHP features spacious rooms and pain management options, including alternatives to epidurals. They see 1,056 annual deliveries and 1,200 triage visits. Owensboro Health Regional Hospital Located in Owensboro, KY, this 477-bed hospital offers acute care with a level III NICU, private labor and delivery rooms, and surgical suites. There has been a generous rate increase as of November 2024. King’s Daughters Medical Center In Ashland, KY, this hospital has a long history since 1917, with recent expansions. It houses one of only four level III NICUs in the state, with full-time neonatologists providing care for premature and medically complex newborns. A rate increase was implemented in January 2025. St. Joseph East Hospital In Lexington, KY, this 217-bed hospital features a Women's Hospital with 12 labor and delivery rooms, three C-section rooms, and a 16-bed level II NICU, dedicated to women’s health. Leitchfield, KY Join our new team at Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY. This full-scope OB/GYN position offers 245 days off annually, a salary of over $457K, and a mix of clinic and on-call responsibilities. No need to relocate, as travel assistance is provided.
