MercyOne Des Moines is seeking a BC/BE fellowship-trained Neurosurgeon to join our collegial Neurosurgery team. We offer a competitive
base salary of $1.1 million with a 2-year income guarantee, $100,000 bonus, moving allowance, $15,000 CME, $5,000 CME allowance, and 31-35 days of time off per year . The package includes malpractice insurance with tail coverage, a 403(b) retirement plan, and more. Responsibilities and Practice Details
Case mix includes complex spine, neurovascular conditions, brain, and busy trauma service Two clinic days and three OR days per week No elective cases or clinic during trauma call Dedicated clinic RN for each physician Call ratio of 1:4, with APP handling first call APPs assist with inpatient rounding On-site imaging: X-ray, CT, MRI, and functional MRI Robust spine center with integrated Pain and PMR services EMR transition from CERNER to EPIC scheduled for Fall 2025 About MercyOne Des Moines
