We’re currently seeking a
skilled and compassionate Dermatologist
to join our team in Charlotte. We offer both
full-time and part-time
opportunities, flexible to meet your career goals.
Your Role As a Dermatologist at Tryon, you\'ll play a vital role in diagnosing and treating a broad spectrum of skin, hair, and nail conditions. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across specialties to ensure comprehensive, quality care for every patient.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat skin disorders, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancers, and more
Perform skin screenings, biopsies, and minor dermatologic procedures
Prescribe appropriate treatments, including medications and topical therapies
Educate patients on preventive skincare and ongoing treatment plans
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in our EMR system (Athena)
Refer to other specialists as needed
Stay informed on the latest dermatological advancements and best practices
Qualifications
Board Certified in Dermatology
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Active North Carolina medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
Completion of a dermatology residency program (minimum 4 years)
Proficient with dermatologic instruments and procedures
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient care skills
Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR); experience with Athena a plus
