The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine is seeking a full-time psychiatrist with the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the non-tenure Clinician-Educator track.
The candidate will join a collaborative environment with clinicians and scientists across the Feinberg School of Medicine and the University. We are expanding our clinical and teaching services in inpatient care, outpatient care, consultation-liaison psychiatry, Neuroscience, and integrated medicine.
Northwestern Memorial Hospital (NMH) is an 894-bed academic medical center hospital, the primary teaching affiliate for the Feinberg School of Medicine, with nearly 1,900 affiliated physicians across various specialties. NMH is nationally ranked and recognized for exemplary patient care and innovations in areas such as cardiovascular care, oncology, neurology, neurosurgery, geriatrics, transplants, orthopedics, and women's health at Prentice Women's Hospital.
The selected candidate should have a strong clinical background in diagnosing and treating various mental disorders and will have opportunities to work with subspecialty neurology populations. Candidates must be board certified in Psychiatry and Neuropsychiatry (board eligible candidates will also be considered). Experience in Neuromodulation will be given special consideration.
The start date is negotiable, and the position will remain open until filled.
