Per Diem Ob/Gyn Hospitalists Needed in Athens, Ohio - Apply Today! Responsibilities

A successful OB hospitalist program should involve collaboration among hospital staff, obstetricians, family practice physicians, and sub-specialists. Our experienced, board-eligible or board-certified OB Hospitalists provide OB triage, inpatient admissions, and delivery care. This approach enhances clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. 24-hour shifts with flexible scheduling to promote work-life balance Collaboration with community OBs in a supportive group Implementation of best practices for continuity, quality, and safety Real-time communication with office physicians regarding triage visits, new issues, and deliveries Goals include improved outcomes, enhanced patient experience, and reduced costs Multidisciplinary OB critical care 24-hour in-house coverage for obstetric and gynecologic emergencies Management of OB/GYN emergency department patients Athens, Ohio, located in the eastern part of the state, near Pennsylvania and northern West Virginia, less than 2 hours from Columbus and 2 hours from Cleveland. Qualifications

Board Certified in OB-GYN Minimum of 1 year recent clinical experience Active Ohio license or ability to obtain via IMLC compact (Pediatrix assists in licensing and DEA registration if needed) Benefits and Compensation

Pediatrix covers travel expenses (flight, rental car or mileage, lodging) for those outside a commutable distance. Malpractice insurance is also provided for this W-2 per diem role. Benefits include: Employee Assistance Program PTO, holidays, and additional compensation are not provided for per diem team members. About Us
