Loyola University Health System and Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine invite applications for a full-time clinical practice Interventional Gastroenterologist to join our nationally ranked Digestive Health program.
The ideal candidate should have excellent skills in general gastroenterology and the ability to perform minimally invasive procedures to diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders. The candidate must be able to perform interventional endoscopies including, but not limited to, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and other advanced therapeutic procedures. The candidate should be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Gastroenterology and possess an Illinois license at the time of appointment. A commitment to teaching, mentoring, and academic productivity is essential. The preferred candidate will be at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.
Loyola University Medical Center has a close partnership with Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital, located immediately east of Hines' campus. Some faculty members hold joint appointments at Hines and Loyola. Students and resident physicians rotate through Hines as part of their training, and Loyola and Hines researchers collaborate on federally funded studies.

RECRUITMENT PACKAGE Loyola University Health System offers an attractive compensation package commensurate with experience, including:
Competitive starting salary between $159,000 and $985,945
