NAPA is seeking a Chief Cardiac Anesthesiologist at Garnet Health Medical Center, working 26 weeks on, 26 weeks off. Description

Cardiac, Endo, general, ortho, labor and delivery, radiology, URO, vascular, GYN, ENT, neuro, and plastics. Shifts

During the 26 weeks on, the MD will: Provide 4 days of weekday Cardiac OR coverage until 5PM Provide 1 day of General OR coverage until 5PM Provide overnight weeknight and weekend beeper call for any Cardiac cases that emerge overnight Team

Leadership: Dr. Gil Nazareno, Chief of Anesthesia Responsibilities

Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtains and/or verifies patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient; induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed Qualifications

M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine ECFMG and FLEX Completion of approved residency in anesthesia Currently licensed as a physician Total Rewards
