Hartford HealthCare's Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI)
is seeking a full-time, board-certified/board-eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist with training and/or interest in Preventive Cardiology. This position focuses on delivering excellent clinical care to a diverse, medically complex patient population in both inpatient and outpatient settings, supported by top-tier cardiovascular invasive, diagnostic, and surgical services within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Position Details and Requirements: Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular risk assessments and manage risk factors for cardiovascular disease. Develop tailored treatment strategies based on patient-specific risk factors. Willingness to learn about management of LDL Apheresis. Provide genetic counseling for familial history of early-onset heart disease. Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists to coordinate care. NBCL certification and/or obesity management training is encouraged but not required. Board eligible or certified in general cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and lipid management.
