MedStar Health, the largest healthcare system and employer in DC/Maryland, offers a rewarding career in a major marketplace. MedStar Washington Hospital Center, an AHA Level 1 CICU with a 54-bed Medical and Surgical Cardiovascular ICU, is seeking a dual-boarded Critical Care Cardiologist to join our team.
In this role, you will manage Medical and Surgical CICU patients alongside physician-led teams of Cardiology fellows, residents, interns, and critical care-trained APPs. The standard full-time shift expectation is 15 weeks per year, with flexible scheduling based on clinical preferences for Medical CICU, Surgical CICU, and Cardiology. During non-clinical weeks, providers are encouraged to participate in departmental activities, research, and leadership development opportunities.

Base salary plus incentive compensation (based on experience)
