Academic Inpatient Psychiatry Unit Chief Location
BronxCare Health System, Bronx, NY Responsibilities
Manage daily operations of the Adult Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit. Lead interdisciplinary teams and participate in behavioral and medical codes. Evaluate academic activities for residents and medical students. Provide direct patient care, monitor length of stay, and conduct clinical consultations. Assess the need for psychiatric assessments and aftercare components. Participate in Performance Improvement, Quality Assurance, Risk Management, and Regulatory activities. Qualifications
Board eligibility or certification in Psychiatry. Residency training from an accredited Psychiatry Program. Medical degree and New York State license. Compensation and Benefits
Salary: $270,000 (based on a 40-hour work week) Bonus: Up to $30,000 (contingent on quality and productivity targets) Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package Application
