Faculty - School of Osteopathic Medicine Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine seeks a board-eligible/board-certified Physiatrist to join the Neuromusculoskeletal Institute (NMI), which includes the departments of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. The successful candidate will work as part of an interdisciplinary team and have opportunities to teach the next generation of leaders in the medical field. The selected candidate will provide and manage direct patient care at outpatient clinical offices in the Southern New Jersey area in support of Rowan Medicine’s mission and vision. Working collaboratively with other Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physicians and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine physicians, the Physiatrist provides care to patients seeking rehabilitative medicine, pain management, electrodiagnostic medicine, and outpatient substance use and addiction treatment. Experience in Pain Management and Addiction Medicine is beneficial. The physiatrist should be comfortable managing opiates. The NMI and Rowan-Virtua SOM offer ample training to assist with this. The physiatrist provides consultation to clinical staff and may provide patient education as needed. Participates in a collegial relationship with physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals. Prescribes or recommends medications or other rehabilitative treatments for patient care. Qualifications Valid NJ medical license MD/DO CDS license DEA license In compliance with The State of New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this AAUP position is: Instructor : ($100,787 to $136,800) Assistant Professor : ($123,083 to $167,264) Associate Professor : ($146,089 to $198,535) Full Professor : ($170,255 to $231,285) *Placement within the range is determined by the candidate's qualifications, professional experience, and other factors. For clinical faculty positions, additional compensation is paid through supplemental funding based on regional benchmarking standards and internal equity by specialty. For eligible employees, benefits include comprehensive NJ state health, dental and retirement benefits, extensive accrued time off/paid holidays, and tuition reimbursement for employee, spouse, and dependents attending Rowan University, Glassboro. (Tuition reimbursement applies to undergraduate degrees for spouses and dependents). Our clinical campus is located in Southern New Jersey, within the Philadelphia metropolitan area, approximately 30 minutes from Center City, 1 hour from the Jersey Shore, 1.5 hours from NYC, and 2 hours from Washington, DC.
