Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC), a member hospital of Dartmouth Health, is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Pain Management Physician / Anesthesiologist to join a team of established anesthesiologists, pain management specialists and anesthesiologist assistants.Position would be roughly 50/50 Anesthesia/Pain.
Opportunity Highlights
Engaged Anesthesiology / Pain Management team which is highly invested in teamwork and optimal patient outcomes
Manageable anesthesia caseload to include endoscopy, general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics and urology .N o cardiac or trauma cases.
P ain cases to include epidurals, radiofrequency ablation, neuromodulation, bedside procedures; ultrasound and x-ray guidance.No medication management.
Incentive compensation may be available in addition to base salary. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off and CME support). A sign-on bonus and relocation stipend may also be available, subject to eligibility.
Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) through 501 (c)(3) nonprofit status
12 weeks of vacation, Biannual CME allowance of $6,000 and malpractice insurance with tail coverage

Current or eligible for Vermont Medical License
Current or eligible for ABMS Board Certification in Pain Management and Anesthesiology (to be obtained within 5 years)
